From estimate to completion, Capstone Waterproofing was timely and responsive. The estimate was scheduled quickly, the quote provided promptly, and each day of work began timely. The quote had enough detail to be confident in my decision to trust their approach to protecting my home.
I especially liked that the Project Manager was Onsite and available to address deviations to schedule and ensure optimal performance.
For example, they anticipated rain near the end of the project and changed the schedule to accommodate. In addition, I received videos/photos of each stage of repair. Seeing the water leaving my property, now replaces the anxiety/memory of sump pump failure and flood.

Basement flooded everytime it rained only to come to find out that my sump pump was not working.
Because I am in the process of remodeling my home my contractor suggested I go with Capstone. Can I say that was the best option ever. Joe came by to asset the issue and provided me detailed information on what needed to be done.
Within that same week I had the invoice and the date that the work would be done. On the date of service the workers were on time and very professional. Like all old houses there will come some problems along the way, but Joe and his crew quickly realized the issued and not just notified me but showed me and walked me through it.
It was determined that it was something that needed to be done, but I did not have to worry because they would get it done. When I tell you this is the best company to go to for all your waterproofing needs.

I was experiencing water issues in the basement unit of my duplex. Capstone came in to do an assessment and conducted a complete analysis using tools to detect moisture and a skilled visual inspection.
They gave me a recommendation and an estimated price. Then followed up with an itemized estimate that came in lower after actual materials costs were calculated.
Work was done to waterproof walls and install a sump pump with a backup battery for outages. They even have an app where they document progress and store invoices along with other important messages.
Will definitely use their services again! Highly recommend!

If you’re in the unfortunate situation of needing a company to waterproof your basement, your search can stop right here. After the last heavy rainfall and having to wet vac my basement again, I knew I had to do something because I’d still be dealing with the problem.
Wanting a reputable company I contacted several to see how they could permanently fix it. I met with Joe at Capstone and he gave me a best and worse case scenario. Holding onto to hope that the “best case” scenario would take care of the problem, it turned our to be more extensive.
Needless to say I was nervous and hesitant. Joe’s right hand, Mr. Claude, explained what was going on and the entire process to install a new waterproofing system. There was no pressure just straight facts which I confirmed by doing my own research.
I received A+ treatment and learned something along the way. The entire crew was respectful and treated my property with care. If you want piece of mind, I highly recommend Capstone to take care of your water infiltration issue.

Capstone did an excellent job getting our old basement in great shape. Joe was clear and patient from the beginning, despite my many questions and the various delays that arose during the permitting process.
Once permits were ready, their teams were in and out efficiently, and they did consistently clean and professional work.
Lonnie and Eddy made quick work of the mold remediation, and Rudy and Carlos were quick but careful and thorough. Joe responded immediately to the few issues that arose (the big one being that they forgot to put the negative-pressure system in place, so there was a strong smell of fungicide in the upper floors of the house the has to be neutralized), and he made sure that everything was taken care of ASAP.
And with Joe’s excellent warranty we now have peace of mind knowing that we can maintain the basement mold- and water-free.

If you want a company that shows compassion and is passionate about their work then Capstone Waterproofing Solutions is the company to seek.
I experienced water damage in my basement and only learned through Joe and Clyde’s seek and discovery consultation that the water damage was due to a crack in the foundation in the basement wall.
Joe went over the whole process verbally and in writing as well as provided educational material to further explain what happened in my situation and the process of resolving the issue. I was in total awe because I had three other waterproofing companies to provide a consultation and quote and NONE of the other companies did a seek and discovery let alone provided material to further educate me on the problem I was experiencing.
Joe kept me informed on everything. Joe and his team is very professional, always on-time, reliable, and informing. They did a fantastic job in correcting the issue. The team was very professional in the work they performed in the inside and outside of the home looks great.

I could write a long detailed story about how Joe of Capstone waterproofing was the lowest price of 4 quoted contractors. I could go on and on about how he answered multiple phone calls from me whenever another contractor told me something they would do and I wasn’t sure if Capstone did it.
And in case you are wondering…yes, Capstone waterproofing did everything the others did.
I could rave about Mr. Claude Jones, DJ and the rest of the crew about how they took care in keeping the area presentable when they wrapped for the day.
I could even show multiple pictures of some of the cleanest and professional work I’ve seen. And I could sum it up and write how once I knew what hydrostatic pressure was and Joe posed the question “If we just seal the cracks, what do you think will happen with the water?”. He was the only one to ask a damn good question.
All I will write is this.
I didn’t have chase Joe down, he did what he promised in the time promised. I don’t know if there are better waterproofing companies. But I know its not many.

I just want to let you know if you want an awesome company to do your water proofing please give Capstone Waterproofing a call. I thought I had mold in my home so I started spraying with bleach.
A couple of days later I started to sweep the wall and noticed it was crumbling and I knew it was water damage. I immediately started to call waterproofing companies. Most had a great talk game but the prices were outrageous. So my last call was to Capstone WaterProofing.
I was so impressed by his demeanor and his professionalism. I even had my son sit in on my meeting because I was worried about getting ripped off. Long story short this company was so professional, punctual, and clean.
When they left I didn’t have to lift a finger to clean anything up. Their staff always showed up on time and got the job done. I want to shout out two awesome supervisors who made sure my job was handled properly.

I recently moved into a home that had a basement stairwell drain that was built entirely too small for the stairwell and would overflow anytime we had heavy rain.
I found Capstone Waterproofing Solutions via a post on NextDoor and Joe was able to help me understand what I needed as this problem is pretty common with these newer homes that are built so quickly. I called other companies who didn’t seem to want to deal with a request that didn’t involve waterproofing an entire basement.
Joe and his team installed a new sump pump pit and larger drain for my stairwell, they put up plastic sheeting to protect the rest of my basement from dust and debris, and cleaned up everything. I had another sump pump going to my back yard that constantly flooded my backyard, and while they were running the new drain, they hooked my old one into the new larger setup and ran it towards the edge of my yard. No more flooding!
I highly recommend giving Joe and his team at Capstone Waterproofing Solutions your business! If your looking for a company with integrity, this is it!

The cause was due to a broken sump pump. I called CAPSTONE and they got back to me right away and was able to send someone out the very next morning.

I called Joe of Capstone to have a sump pump replaced in my mother in law’s home.
The sump pump wouldn’t shut off, and the motor was over heating creating steam in the sump pit. I know as a licensed home inspector, that this is a red flag and the sump pump is failing. Out of all days, this happens when we have been having non stop rain.
Needless to say, the sump pump was not only replaced, but was upgraded to a more heavy duty pump. The service tech even corrected an issue with the back flow device I didn’t see.
I have watched these guys on social media for years, and I knew that’s who I wanted to use to prevent our basement from flooding.
Quick turnaround, I was told the tech would be at on the site at 8am, but by 8am, he already had the old pump out!!!! KUDOS TO JOE AND CAPSTONE Property Services Group LLC, for defying the stereotypes of black businesses.
I will continue to refer and call when needed.

When I contacted this company, I thought they would tell me my job was too small and they didn’t have time for me. That was certainly not the case. Joe McPherson (Owner) expressed to me that “no job was too small.”
He took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, then came out to survey the situation. He was very professional and respectful throughout the entire process.
What I like most about this company is that the owner returned to inspect the work done and to ensure customer satisfaction. This made me feel like he really cared if I was pleased with the work and he’s not just in it for the money.
From my experience with another contractor, after his team did the work, I received an invoice via email requesting final payment. No one called to find out if I was satisfied with the work, it was not good feeling.
I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends..

Thank you for a job well done. For 2 years I lived with water pooling in my backyard every time it rained. After complaining to anyone who would listen, a friend recommended Capstone Waterproofing Solutions.
First impressions are never wrong. I sensed from my initial call to the company that I was dealing with professionals. Mr. McPherson honored the date and time we set for him to come to my home to assess the problem and provide a recommendation for a permanent fix.
The project included hauling in dirt/soil, seeding, grading, installing underground drains and pop-up drains. Mr. McPherson and the engineer visited the property during key phases of the project to assess the progress. Oh yeah, Capstone even took care of notifying Miss Utility.
Could I be happier with Capstone? Absolutely, but only if lifetime mowing was included (smile). Would I recommend Capstone? ABSOLUTELY! If you want a professional company who does professional work, Capstone is the company for you.

Although I’ve never personally hired Capstone for any work, I recommended them to an old friend. I recommended them because I know that they perform professional quality work. They also did some roof work at my parents house.
So I can say that they were extremely professional in their dealings with my friend and my parents. I actually witnessed all of the work that was put into the remodel of my friend’s home from beginning to end. I can say that they were extremely professional in their dealings with her and with their work ethic.
They were upfront and transparent about costs. This is a company that has a rare quality and that’s honesty. I’ve never seen a company talk to you about saving money by telling you the things you don’t need and what would be a waste of money. They definitely do not try to up charge you or sell you unnecessary fixes for your problem and or remodel.
I would definitely recommend this company again. It’s hard to find a company that will be completely honest with you. A company that will not take your money and do unnecessary work, they actually do only what they need to do to get the job done, nothing extra to line their pockets. You will not see them telling you to spend an exorbitant amount of money just because, if the situation calls for it, you can best believe they will be honest about it.
I can’t say enough about this company and again I highly highly recommend doing business with them, you will not be disappointed.
Quite honestly the only way you will be disappointed is if you did not use them. Capstone is definitely the way to go!! Call them today, you can’t go wrong!

Contacted this company as I found mold growing in my basement. I lived in the home for years and wonder why I continued to have headaches all the time. Didn’t know what the cause was.
Once Capstone came into my home and ran tests they found my issue. Quickly set up a plan to clear out the mold and stop it from coming back. The work was excellent and completed in a timely fashion. I will definitely be using Capstone in the future.
