Rain Water Belongs Outside, Not In Your House Or Basement
Everytime it rains more than half an hour, you’re on water duty. Day or night, you can’t relax or leave your house in fear of water flooding your house and destroying your personal items. And if your home is located downhill, you’re in for a lot of sleepless nights. It’s time to put an end to this.
Whether it’s your basement, crawl space or yard water drainage, we at Capsone Property Service are here to make sure your home stays dry.

Signs You’ve Got A Basement Waterproofing Problem
And why proper basement waterproofing is important
1. Bad Smells

A mildew-ish smell comes from fungi starting to grow due to excess moisture. If you can’t get enough of that air freshener, you’ve got water coming in.
2. Excess Moisture

3. Mold

Mold is a type of fungus that develops and thrives in humid environments. It’s white, black or dark green and releases spores that can affect your health.
4. Water Stains

5. Cracks

Cracks in the structure of your walls allow moisture, gases and odors into the basement. They are also a sign that there may be some soil erosion going on at the foundation of your house.
6. Flooded Basement

Water Intrusion: A Serious Health Hazard

A message from Joe, owner of Capstone Waterproofing Solutions
Sickness from mold got me bedridden for a whole week. In 2015, after a property preservation job, I got very sick. You see, mold or signs of mold are not always visible. I didn’t see it and I wasn’t aware of how extended exposure to mold can affect health.
I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis, fever, and couldn’t eat or hold anything down for a week. But the worst part was not being able to spend Christmas with my family.
It doesn’t have to be like this for you. As your waterproof contractor, we’ll help you keep your house dry and your family safe.
The Process
Here’s how a basement waterproofing unfolds:
1. Inspection
We’ll come to your house for a full-check both outside and inside. Infrared cameras will help us see what the naked eye can’t see. On the outside, we’ll look at your yard: how it’s graded, where the excess water goes and whether or not proper water management tools are installed.

2. Plan
Once the inspection is over, we’ll have a clear picture on where water is entering your house, why this happened and what damage it produced.
After this, we’ll set up the best course of action and provide a price & time estimate. Most basement waterproofing projects take about 5 days to complete.

3. Waterproofing
After signing the contract, we’ll excavate the floor’s perimeter down to the foundation, and remove damaged walls, insulation and piping. We’ll put up a drainboard on your walls, do all the new piping and pump installation, and finish it all with cement.

Basement Waterproofing Prices
Fixing the cause, not just the symptoms
Every waterproofing job is a custom job and most problems are an inside issue that comes from an outside source. When you choose Capstone Waterproofing Solutions for your basement waterproofing, you’re having the cause fixed, not just the unpleasant symptoms.
An average price for a basement waterproofing is between $8,500 – $16,000.
Most basement waterproofing companies will charge that just to install the pressure relief system and not handle all of the causes.
We’re taking care of them for good:
- outside drainage issues
- downspout extensions
- window well drains
- malfunctioning sump pumps
- cracks repair

5 Star Service
Contacted this company as I found mold growing in my basement. I lived in the home for years and wonder why I continued to have headaches all the time. Didn’t know what the cause was.
Once Capstone came into my home and ran tests they found my issue. Quickly set up a plan to clear out the mold and stop it from coming back. The work was excellent and completed in a timely fashion. I will definitely be using Capstone in the future.
Saying that I am grateful for finding Capstone Waterproofing Solutions would be an understatement. The owner kept me informed every step of the way. The crew arrived on time, unearthed the pipes beneath the ground, redirected the pipes (sump pump issues), and by the end of the day you couldn’t even tell that they were even there! Professional, trustworthy and I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed. They truly went above and beyond my expectations.
