I have mud in my sump pump crock

Unfortunately, this is a sign the pressure relief system (sump pump system) was not installed correctly or not properly inspected to find other underlying issues around the home’s foundation. Mud coming through the drain tile is prohibiting the water around the foundation from flowing to the sump pump crock. Ticking time bomb is a better way to characterize this situation! Soon the water will seep through the floor and walls because it has nowhere else to go.  If you see this in your sump pump crock please call a basement waterproofing company immediately.
